Welcome to Consorts…
The home of Ensemble playing and practice….
This site is the place to come for beautiful recordings that you can play along with. No videos, just quality audio. All our recordings are played by real players using real instruments. Each will not only have a full version to listen to, but others with a part missing, so you can become the final member of the ensemble and join in. Click on the links below to start exploring our site and if you like what see and hear, why not subscribe to get regular access to the content. We have a small amount of free samples so you can try things out, but you will still need to register in order to gain access.
June update….
We are introducing a new arranger this month… David Kemp has kindly agreed that we can record and offer his work… and we are starting by including his very lovely arrangement of Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise, the music is wonderful and not to difficult either! In addition, there is more from the Terpsichore, Fantasias by Henry Purcell and John Ward’s Oxford and for premium subscribers a brand new arrangement of the Fugal Concerto by Gustav Holst.
