Try out our new 19 part arrangement… there is something for everyone, with both easy and difficult parts. Although Premium content, we will be making this arrangement and a selection of other items free for the week.
We also have a new composer to Consorts. Anthony St Pierre will be no stranger to our North America colleagues as he writes plenty of recorder music and works very closely with the ARS. His Medieval Suite is a trio which is both fun to play and not too difficult.
Our more usual upload of music also includes Boismortiers 1st Concerto for 5 Flutes (Trebles), four more Venetian Canzons by Maschera, a Fantasia sextet by Martin Pearson and an 8 part Sonata from the SPCM by Schmeltzer.

Coupled with that there is an exclusive Consorts edition of The Menuet Antique by Maurice Ravel for the premium subscribers. Add to that 3 more Bransles from the Terpsichore… very easy to play and all arranged for double quintet… along with another of Telemann’s Duo Sonatas.
March 23
Top of the bill this month is Telemann’s Ouverture suite ‘La Lyra’. It is wonderful music and not too difficult to play either in this brand new arrangement. We add 5 more Maschera Canzon’s to the Venetian collection in a mixture of high and low voice recordings. John Jenkin’s appears for the first time with his Fantasia No2… which has some surprisingly tricky rhythms and finally, there is Contrapunctus 7 by the master himself – JS Bach. Enjoy!
