This coronation anthem is one of Handel’s best known and loved peices. Our arrangement uses 19 instruments to get that ‘big’ sound required and has parts of varying difficulty, from easy to quite tricky!
Our largest recording project so far… 40 parts of fabulous English polyphony and probably Thomas Tallis’s best known work. Written for 4, double, 5-part choirs it is a massive piece to play!
Everybody knows of Pucinni as an operatic composer, but Crisantemi (Chrysanthemums) is the most beautiful piece of chamber music… The original for string quartet is re arranged here for 6 recorders and it works really well!
Maurice Ravel’ work are always precise and beautifully crafted… the Menuet antique is no exception, so don’t expect an easy ride. Although not a fast piece, it is none the less quite tricky… Ravel’s music should never be underestimated!
The recorder was at it peak in the baroque and Georg Phillip Telemann produced some of the best instrumental music of the period. The suite ‘La Lyra’ couples the best of both worlds with 7, quintet movements to try. Some a tricky… but others are relatively easy.
…and something new to play! Victor Carbajo is a Spanish composer and his trio ‘The Universal Sparrow’ is a really fun suite of 5 movements… and not too difficult either.
It is so easy...
